I have the anamorphic Umbrella Entertainment disc and can vouch for its existence. It is absolutely the best version I've seen (including Criterion and Kinowelt).

Having seen the Russian version, I can guarantee that it is pan & scanned. The opening titles move back and forth left and right with very artificial movements, and most of the film's compositions...

Based on (mis)information from DVD Profiler, I ordered the Dutch version only to discover that it was 1.85 NON-anamorphic, albeit with a nice 5.1 remix.

Can anyone confirm from first-hand...
