I've always thought if anything the ratings are becoming MORE lenient. I think a lot of PG-13 movies coming out today would have gotten an R rating 15 years ago.

All of the previous movies had scenary and locations that felt alive and real. Here I felt like majority of the scenes were on a sound stage...

I popped in Thirteen and was indeed underwhelmed.

However, I also threw in 11 and it looked fantastic. The scene at the horse track is one I skipped to and it looked great.
