Re: The Crow (2024, D: Sanders) -- S: Bill Skarsgard

Really lame and laughable, but I'll probably watch it for the kills.

Re: The increasingly tricky business of video games

So you admit that you don't what is but if you took the time to read up on it even just a little, you would see it has nothing to do with politics.

Also, I'll stop talking about it in this thread...

Re: The increasingly tricky business of video games

Yes, it relates as eventually reputation and word of mouth will lead to less sales and possibly even more layoffs (thats the quick summary of it).

Wasn't a political reply at all.

Re: The increasingly tricky business of video games

It's funny that my other reply got "moved" so in order for this one not to, I'll say this: It's doesn't help that the major AAA studios have hired outside sources who are not as qualified or talented...

Re: The Strangers: Chapter 1, 2, 3 (2024, D: Harlin) -- new trilogy

Actually looks pretty good, but I take it the last shot of the trailer is acually one of the last scenes of the movie and that it's actually his girlfriend under the mask with her mouth taped shut...

Re: Skinamarink (2023, D: Kyle Edward Ball)

Ya know, it's such a shame that the director decided to go the experimental route as this could have been a breakthrough really creepy horror film. Once you learn what's going on it, it's really...

Re: Dune: Part Two (2024, D: Villeneuve) 2une: I Could Dune This All Day

Mainly just wanted to post this because I only caught the goofy thread title just now, it made my morning.

Re: MLB The Show 24 (3/19/24)

I thought 23 was great (never understand the amount of people who complained about it).

I loved recreating the '87 Yankees roster and playing with them - a lot of people also downloaded my team...

Re: Guns N' Roses: Perhaps / The General

They tried to get him back several times, but he won't budge I guess.

Re: Pearl Jam - Dark Matter (4/19/24)

I actually like the new single, but I'm hoping it's not the best song on the album either.

Re: Watch Dogs Legion (PS4, PS5, Xbox, PC) - 10/29/20

I decided to play this as it's dirt cheap (10 bucks for the edition with the one DLC but not the DLC with Aiden Pierce). I hated it at first but now I like how you can literally just walk around and...

Re: Untitled Evil Dead Film (D: Vaniček)

True, but it's things like Ash burying people and making wood stick crosses for tombstones that elevate it to a comedy and that was obviously Rami's intention.

Re: Oppenheimer (2023, D: Nolan) S: Murphy, Blunt, RDJ, Damon, Pugh, Malek

I can't stand Colbert at all, but that was funny - I'm surprised Nolan did that.

Re: 50th anniversary of Blazing Saddles today! (2/7/74)

This flick is still f'n hilarious. Surprised the pansy mob hasn't tried to "cancel" it yet.

Re: A Quiet Place: Day One (2024, D: Sarnoski)

It's crazy that another one of these are being made (I mean, not really, as I guess they make a lot of money). The first two were below average films.

I do think this one looks to be the best of...

Rise is my Favorite Evil Dead film................so keep them coming.

EDIT: I also hope this series never goes back to its comedy roots either.

Re: What are you playing? (February 2024)

Just Mortal Kombat 1, but sadly, I think this series has officially gone the Call of Duty route.

Re: Saltburn (2023, W/D: Fennell) S: Pike, Keoghan, Elordi, Grant, Mulligan

This flick felt like it was made by a film school dropout. I can't believe they went with that ending as well - only a moron would need that spelled out for them.

Just a sloppy, stupid, movie.

Re: Longlegs (2024, W/D: Osgood Perkins) S: Maika Monroe, Nicolas Cage

I was really excited for this and loved all the teasers and even the main trailer then I saw Cage was attached to it. I'm not fully pessimistic just yet, but that did kill a lot of excitement for me.
