As an old fan I'm still having trouble with the "Run!" and "Doctor as a messianic figure" themes.

"Just a fallible alien with a time machine" worked better for me.

I might put it a different way; they seem to have gone for easy fun. Some of the missions and characters are fun. Baby delivery and Widowmaker, for example.

I played the previous installments...

Yeah, I agree. They shove their message down your throat at every opportunity, from the sermons, to the music, to the someone-should-be-fired-for-this "gameplay" elements around the forced plot shit....

AMC stinks

The neighborhood theater wasn't showing Disaster Artist so we went to the local AMC, the next closest theater. It's in an upscale part of town. Words cannot express how much I hate this theater.
