Hobbit battle of 5 armies playback issue

Just picked up the extended edition on blu-ray today and disc 1, the movie disc, refuses to play. My player, a sony bdp s350 doesn't recognize the disc. Anyone else having similar problems?*

The BD will sell out but at 5000 copies this time around, you should have a few days to snag a copy.

I do agree with the idea that TT *should* limit sales to one per customer.
