Re: The Walking Dead -- Mid-Season Finale -- "Too Far Gone" -- 12/01/13

Adriana in The Sopranos died off-screen, but she still was dead.

Re: The Walking Dead -- Mid-Season Finale -- "Too Far Gone" -- 12/01/13

Rick's buddy Shane is doing well on his new show "Mob City."

(Sorry, but since we are talking about other movies the cast has been in, I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon.)

I loved it when...

Re: The Walking Dead -- Mid-Season Finale -- "Too Far Gone" -- 12/01/13

My urine-doctor once told me that the bladder never explodes. It only expands and expands, and becomes excruciatingly painful. But never explodes.

Re: The Walking Dead -- Mid-Season Finale -- "Too Far Gone" -- 12/01/13

...And for all the "nay-sayers" and haters of Carl, I'll have you know that, while sitting in a room with two prepubscent girls, swooning over Carl ("Carl is so-oo hot"), I can guarantee that nobody...

Re: The Walking Dead -- Mid-Season Finale -- "Too Far Gone" -- 12/01/13

With Hershel gone, their only doctor-in-residence, how does Rick prevent his bullet wound from getting infected? Looks like he's in a heap o' trouble!

Re: Pulp Fiction: Wasn't The Wolf's advice the most obvious shit of all time?

Big Kahuna Burger served hamburgers in the AM (McDonald's does not).

It was "morning," because Jules made the comment "...hamburgers, the cornerstone to any nutritional breakfast." Then, later,...

Re: Does the Wire take a while to get going?

Socially awkward. Chester Sobotka was actually very intelligent - computer savvy, technology-proficient.

Re: Pulp Fiction: Wasn't The Wolf's advice the most obvious shit of all time?

They were frazzled over the dead body being splattered all over the inside of the car on a city street, in broad daylight.

They were under the crunch of time, and needed someone like The Wolf who...

Re: The Wire - "The Dickensian Aspect" - 02/10/08 (Now on HBO-On-Demand)

I always wondered how someone in Randy's situation would survive in a Group Home without having to resort to murder. I mean, aside from having to fight, I assume he also was subjected to rape?

Re: The Wire: Come watch the greatest crime series ever with me. . .

Do you think Wee-Bay suspected D'Angelo for the reason why the cops were able to find him in Philly to easily? (And it was D'Angelo who snitched about his whereabouts.) If so, I'm surprised he let...

Corey Feldman to release new memoir on his life

called "Coreyography." Reveals sex abuse, drug abuse, and how he was abused by his parents, etc, etc. Basically it's Todd Bridges' memoir, based on that basic description, substituting a black...

Re: KING KONG question - regarding whether apes see in "color?"

If scientists don't understand why, then how can "we" believe them?

Is it the same thing with milk and red meat being bad for you, then they change their mind, then they change their mind again,...

Re: KING KONG question - regarding whether apes see in "color?"

That's one school, but I'm of the other, more obvious school of thought is Kong being an allegory of black slave taken from his homeland and brought to America against his will by white men.

Re: KING KONG question - regarding whether apes see in "color?"

Kong made the mistake of sniffing her, and she hadn't changed her maxi-pad yet. She reminded him of the unsanitary "brides" of yore, so he tossed her.

Re: KING KONG question - regarding whether apes see in "color?"

Considering Merian C. Cooper conceived the idea of Kong going ape over Ann Darrow in the early 1930s, I wonder if they knew back then about how animals view the world. Of course, I don't think he...

Re: KING KONG question - regarding whether apes see in "color?"

One thing I noticed, in Kong '76, was that the previous native brides wore fake "yellow hair" on their heads. Apparently, somehow, jungle savages "knew" that Kong favored blondes.

KING KONG question - regarding whether apes see in "color?"

I understand that dogs and cats see things in black and white. Are humans the only Earth creature capable of seeing in color, and if so, what allure did King Kong have towards Ann Darrow/Dwan just...

Re: Jack Nicholson Retires From Acting Due To Memory Loss

It's a shame when professional golfers get memory loss.

Seriously - it's a ploy. I'll bet you he remembers where his marijuana is!
