Well the Umbrella version shares the exact same transfer as the Anchor Bay DVD, but the R4 is the one to get for the extras.

The docu at 70mins sounds good but I'm very annoyed the film itself like on the R2 Anchor Bay DVD, which shares the same master as the upcoming R4 is the cut Aust, M rated cinema version.

The Japanese disc features a 448kbps DD track, and the pic has an average bitrate of 8.39mb, which is as high as it gets really. Almost like a non official superbit release.

It appears MGM are pulling a Fox with this release, since its out R2 UK with a 2nd disc containing about an hour of extras. Including an alternate ending, not on the R1.

A question for anyone fortunate/unfortunate enough to own the R3 HK DVD. Can you tell me if the DD audio bitrate is 448kbps or 384kbps, like on all the Pal releases of the film?
