yes

well, at least the 27in flatscreen that sam's club was/is selling is a rebadged samsung tv. Dunno about other akai sets though.

I have the 2790 and it does have an s-video in, 1 component, 2 av in the back, and one av on the side that evidentally overrides everything else as it is only meant for temporary connections...
