My three song guesses for Rock Band Blitz:

1. Dick Dale - Miserlou (RBB is a great opportunity to sneak a couple of instrumentals into the library)
2. Ram Jam - Black Betty
3. Reel Big Fish -...

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution

Nice getting all three songs! Pretty soon my friends and I will never have to go out for karaoke.

Re: Recommend some good Armageddon-like/survival books (Similar to “The Road”)

On The Beach - Pretty good for a quick read. This was from back in early cold war days when we thought we would destroy the entire world with nuclear weapons.

The Postman - Good read, but it...

Re: American Gods: The Tenth Anniversary Edition [Kindle Edition] - $1.99

Thanks for posting this; I also caught it from Pixels of Ink. $1.99 is a steal.

Re: Where do you get your books (library, purchase)?

Books I've never read before, I start at the top of the list and go down until I get the book:

1. Check Amazon Prime Kindle Lending Library.
2. Check Local Library Website for physical and ebook...

Re: What are your Black Friday plans?

I'll head out to a couple of places, but I haven't completely decided yet. I always skip Best Buy and WalMart to avoid the masses. I usually hit up Office Depot and Home Depot.

Re: Spotify: Everyone Loves Music (or "Streaming is the Future")

Anyway to use Google Music playlists on Spotify or vice-versa? I like using both, and I hate having to duplicate playlists.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution

Looks like whatever Squires are on the market will be it for the foreseeable future. RBA link (http://www.rockbandaide.com/12698/harmonix-addresses-fender-squier-status/).

Also, some are...

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution

I want a few of the songs, but I'll wait a while as I don't want to support this new pricing format of having to buy the whole pack to get the most popular songs.

Re: The Official eBook & eReader Thread

Most midlist authors can actually make quite a bit more through self-publishing than they can with the big 6 and most of these are now transitioning to publishing on Kindle where they can make 70% of...

Re: The 15 Most Profitable Films of All-Time

I wonder if it partly had to do with many theaters doing a triple feature with all three films. Even though all three were shown, the box office records would probably just be applied to RotK.

Re: Homefront...March 2011

I'm looking forward to this, but will probably wait until the first price drop. I don't have time to play many games these days.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution

I'm hoping when RB4 eventually comes out we'll get a synthesis of the RB2 touring style with RB3 genre selection options.

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution

Count me in amongst the folk who've never heard "Airplanes". I'm 32 and get most of my new music from Rock Band and Pandora.

After the Valentine's Day pack, HMX should release a Stalker Pack with...

Re: Community -- "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons" -- 2/03/11

This was my first time watching Community. I've played a lot of D&D over the years and am kind of awed that it was given pretty good coverage here. It's a fun game but the current versions have...

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution

Great points Adam. I'm okay with Blink 182, but I think we have enough of them for a while. I'm hoping to see more 1990s love soon...it'd be great to get some Collective Soul, Live, Sublime, Blues...

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution

I would have rather just had updates of the Legend tracks. I'm holding out on buying that pack and I don't know any of these songs. HMXFail indeed!

Re: The Official Rock Band Thread of Music Game Evolution

Ouch...I didn't read it carefully at first and thought each package contained a code for DLC of your choice. If that was the case I'd buy a bunch of Schick coupons from eBay and wait for a sale....
