Curses! Oh, well - at least I can fail out a few (dozen) times and still finish with a platinum trophy. I wonder how many million virtual fans I'll lose when I decide to give this a go?

I've found a number of reviews that say that Mirror's Edge takes place in the future or "near-future," but can't find anything on the official site (including the "Synopsis") that proves it. Damn.

My only saving grace was that I saw a deal on CAG early last week that took me to Steam for the first time, otherwise this would've been a total guess for me.
