Re: Actors you love on film, but hate off?

Re: Game of Thrones (S6E07) -- "The Broken Man" -- 6/5/16

His wife is dead, but he still controls the Eire. Marching in to rescue Winterfel and then marrying a newly widowed Sansa would give him the North as well. I figure that is almost half the kingdom...

Re: Game of Thrones (S6E04) -- "Book of the Stranger" -- 5/15/16

I'm pretty sure she talked about it in Season 2.

Re: Game of Thrones (S6E03) -- "Oathbreaker" -- 5/8/16

Re: Second Chance (FOX) -- Season 1 Thread -- From the EPs of 24 and Life -- 1/13/16

So was this last episode the season finale? The series finale? Has it been cancelled? This certainly felt like an ending to me.

Re: The Walking Dead (S6E14) -- "Twice as Far" -- 3/20/16

You obviously need to watch The Shawshank Redemption because Andy Dufresne explains very well why you might not want to do that.

As far as people thinking Daryl not being able to drive a stick is...

Re: The Walking Dead (S6E10) -- "The Next World" -- 2/21/16

It makes some sense. The walkers had no reason to struggle and pull at the ropes until a human was close

Re: Castle (ABC) -- Season 8 Thread -- Premieres 9/21/15

I simply must not have been paying attention but just who is the public defender supposed to be and why are they watching him?

Re: American Horror Story: Hotel (S5E11) - "Battle Royale" - 1/6/16

Re: American Horror Story: Hotel (S5E11) - "Battle Royale" - 1/6/16

If you noticed they dragged the son out onto the street for him to die. I assume the sidewalk immediately outside the hotel is pert of it's grounds.

Re: The 73rd Golden Globe Awards (NBC) -- 1/10/16

I never saw the movie but just finished the book and unless MAJOR changes were made to it I have no idea how The Martian can be considered a comedy (or musical). Does anyone know their rational?

Re: Castle (ABC) -- Season 8 Thread -- Premieres 9/21/15

The only Firefly reference I caught was Slaughter referring to the building as "shiny" were there any others?

Re: Game of Thrones (S5E08) -- "Hardhome" -- 5/31/15

I'm thinking Ramsey is going to pull night raids, grabbing sentries and such, causing terror when each morning the army wakes to find flayed men crucified on their perimeter.

Re: Game of Thrones (S5E08) -- "Hardhome" -- 5/31/15

Not being a book reader I always got the impression they were very rare and valuable but certainly more than that. Even minor houses like Mormont and Tully have one. Just because they were not...

Re: Game of Thrones (S5E08) -- "Hardhome" -- 5/31/15

Now that was a bad ass episode.

I think there are a bunch of valerian steel swords left in the world. It has been mentioned before that it was a prestigious thing for a great house to own. There I...

Re: Game of Thrones (S5E06) -- "Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken" -- 5/17/15

Re: Game of Thrones (S5E06) -- "Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken" -- 5/17/15

Actually I got the impression from the show that they were not in the city at all but in a small spa like retreat used by the royal family. Called something like "the water gardens". I simply assumed...
