Re: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (Abrams, 2019) — The Spoiler Filled Reviews Thread

RT is not a great barometer for the public's view on something like Star Wars. I don't think this has been targeted like TLJ was (or may have been), but it's still a self-selecting sample. The...

re: Starting Babylon 5 for the first time...

I’m in the middle of a rewatch as well, but I skipped most of season 1. Up to beginning of season 5 now. I think seasons 2-4 have held up well.

Re: Game of Thrones (S7E04) -- "The Spoils of War" -- 8/6/17

I certainly assumed it was Bronn. You'd have to be pretty desperate or crazy to make that move, and Jamie is his meal ticket.

Re: Game of Thrones (S7E02) -- "Stormborn" -- 7/23/17

I think I misread that post. Yes, Cerseit won't have much interest in Yara. I'm a little surprised she wasn't killed immediately by Euron. Perhaps he wants to play up the killing of a sibling...

Re: Game of Thrones (S7E02) -- "Stormborn" -- 7/23/17

He was part of Tywin's war council in seasons 1 and 2. I think he was the one who suggested Cersei and her children leave King's Landing for Casterly Rock when Stannis was building his forces and...

Re: Game of Thrones (S7E02) -- "Stormborn" -- 7/23/17

The episode emphasized that particular sand snake is Ellaria's daughter. Ellaria killed Cersei's daughter. I think Cersei would enjoy returning the favor to Ellaria.

Re: Fear the Walking Dead (S1E06) -- Season Finale -- "The Good Man" -- 10/4/15

So the heroes of this story created a diversion that killed dozens (if not hundreds) of people to retrieve two people?

Re: Game of Thrones -- "First of His Name" -- 5/04/14

Bolton sent Locke to kill the male Starks. Presumably, he went to Castle Black because he figured Jon Snow would be there. He overheard Jon and Sam talking about Bran being north of the wall in the...

And Hart killed him before Ledoux could give an alibi or any other kind of information.

Re: The Walking Dead -- "Infected" -- 10/20/13

I think in the scene you're referring to they were talking about the guy who locked himself in his cell. He also died of the flu that night and turned. Since he was not bitten and didn't bite...

Re: Community -- "Paranormal Parentage" -- 2/14/13

Liked the first episode better, but I think both episodes have been pretty bad. Not funny and the characters seem off.

Re: The Office -- "Suit Warehouse" -- 1/17/13

I get that. I just don't think it makes any sense. What's in it for Dunder Mifflin to have an absentee salesman? Since the start up is clearly going well (swanky office, Dr. J.), what's still in...

Re: The Office -- "Suit Warehouse" -- 1/17/13

The whole two jobs situation makes no sense. But now that others have brought it up, maybe he's getting away with it because there's no manager.

Re: The Office -- "Suit Warehouse" -- 1/17/13

They should just move Jim and Pam to Philly and be done with it, because their story makes no sense as is.

I think there's a better answer than the one I chose on this one, but I'd forgotten about that film.

Re: Buffy The Sheep Slayer

Challenge: Robin was raised and trained by a Watcher. He also did a considerable amount of watching.
