Re: Deadpool & Wolverine (2024, D: Levy) - S: Reynolds, Jackman

Liefeld's Just Feet

Re: Transformers One - animated prequel (2024, D: Cooley)

Reminds me of the MOTU CG show from Netflix ( which I enjoyed).

I'm guessing the Bayverse or Reboot Bee-verse fans aren't the target audience for this one.

Re: Marvel Animation’s X-Men ‘97 (Disney+) - premieres 3/20/24

Nothing live-action will ever come close to Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm.

The MCU shouldn't even bother trying.

Re: Marvel Animation’s X-Men ‘97 (Disney+) - premieres 3/20/24

Holy Shit.
HOLY SHIT....

That was on the same level as Stark's Endgame Moment .

Re: The Fantastic Four (2025, D: Shakman) S: Pascal, Kirby, Moss-Bachrach, Quinn

They're trying to subvert expectations and check the boxes... because that worked so well with the Star Wars sequels.

When they finally reveal Norrin Rad, no one will give a shit.

They...

Re: Marvel Animation’s X-Men ‘97 (Disney+) - premieres 3/20/24

I honestly don't give two shits about the MCU or Star Wars right now.

Just give me more X-men '97 for the next 10 years.

I've watched these three episodes more times than I watched the...

I guess if you want to enhance the nostalgia factor and get moist.... sure it helps but not required.

Re: Marvel Animation’s X-Men ‘97 (Disney+) - premieres 3/20/24

Picks up right after the fifth season that aired back in '97.

Re: Marvel Animation’s X-Men ‘97 (Disney+) - premieres 3/20/24

And I'm still in disbelief they didn't fuck this up.

Looking forward to the rest of the season.

What they did to Storm is just wrong.

Re: Star Wars: The Bad Batch (Disney+) - premieres 5/4/2021

I find it hilarious that they are still recycling stuff from the original expanded universe. Project Necromancer was directed lifted from Dark Empire.

Re: Marvel Animation’s X-Men ‘97 (Disney+) - premieres 3/20/24

I still think Disney is going to screw this up, but I'm glad some of the original voice actors are back. They guy playing Cyclops really sounds like the late Norm Spencer. I'm guessing Cal Dodd...

Re: Masters of the Universe: Revolution (Netflix) - premieres 1/25/24

I just watched it again and goddamn, they gave Keith David and Tony Todd some kickass dialog.

Re: Masters of the Universe: Revolution (Netflix) - premieres 1/25/24

So they are recognizing the MOTU film as part of this series. Badass.

Enjoyed Revolution more than Revelation.

Its a lot better than that LatinX crap they thought was trendy. I hated that fucking label.

Re: The Creator (2023, D: Edwards) S: Washington, Chan, Watanabe, Simpson, Voyles, Janney

They need to give the live- action Akira to Edwards.

He is the only one that can do it justice.

This film was absolutely magnificent.

Re: Marvel’s Fantastic Four (2025, D: Shakman) - news, rumors, etc.

I like Pascal but definitely the wrong choice for this. They should've gone with someone unknown.

Re: The Marvels (2023, D: DaCosta) -- The Spoiler Reviews Thread

That seems to be the excuse for everything that's doing piss- poor these days.

Top Gun Maverick, NWH, and Avatar did pretty damn good despite the pandemic.

Re: The Marvels (2023, D: DaCosta) -- The Spoiler Reviews Thread

We are approaching that marker now. This must be the " extended rebuilding" phase for the MCU, followed by the "Ok, we fucked up... please come back" phase starting next year and then the X-men...

Re: The General Marvel Cinematic Universe Film discussion thread - News, rumors, etc.

They should've had the Xmen or FF prepped to take over after Endgame, especially after they killed off Stark.

Other than NWH, we get a bunch of mediocre shit that no one wants to watch.
