Re: Dollar General DVD's

Potential caveat emptor but I got some Criterions for $1, Grey Gardens and Christmas Tale, and all of them had bit of glue that bits of the paper envelope stuck to.

Haven't watched them yet to see...

Re: DeepDiscountDVD "Big Sale" 25% Off

My orders shipped via DHL which in turn shipped them to a USPS location within my home state. Seemed to me to add much more time to the whole shipping process than just sending them USPS.

Guess I...

Re: Best Buy Ad 10/14 - 10/20/12

Just hoping they price them similar to Walmart and (most of) the Targets at $9.96 but I'm leaning towards them pricing them $12.99.

Guess the 10/21 ad or whenever they get the frickin things on...

Re: Best Buy Ad 10/14 - 10/20/12

No exclusive Bond prices??

Don't tell me that BB is now not bringing them out on 10/23 :(

Edit: Sorry, would be in 10/21 ad if advertised. Jumped the PPK on that one.

Re: Universal Monsters £34.32 from Amazon.co.uk Shipped to US

Got my UK regular set today, no tracking number but it did come when the site said. Listening to the commentary on Dracula right now.

Well worth the $50 savings ;)

Cheers.

Re: Apparently U&S is back on October 7th

Well, that was interesting.

Turned out that didn't apply all my trade-ins (two out of six) and had to get back in line.

Worked out for me though ;)

I actually ended up TRADING a DVD for a...

Re: Apparently U&S is back on October 7th

You may have to ready the Goldmiddlefinger.

Since those Bonds have been reported being scarce someone asked a BB manager where they were and the computer said that they're to come to stores...

Re: DVD EMPIRE 20% off everything

Some of them you have to go to the product page. Bond 50 showed up as their regular price on their homepage, but if you clicked on it and went to the other view it showed up with 20% off.

Re: Three Stooges Ultimate Collection pre-order 44.99 on bestbuy.com

I'd imagine that all the sets are the same. Hopefully you can get them listed before prices start to crater from all the folks planning on doing the same.

I never bought any of the Stooges sets...

Re: Three Stooges Ultimate Collection pre-order 44.99 on bestbuy.com

In my set, everything is individually shrinkwrapped, even the bonus disc. Its the same sets that have been coming out over the years. That makes me wonder if the bonus disc coming out on its own...

Re: Three Stooges Ultimate Collection pre-order 44.99 on bestbuy.com

One thing I did notice is that the sticker on the front makes it look like the set has a MSRP of $69.99. My assumption is that they put the MSRP on those stickers or something close to it. Of...

Re: Three Stooges Ultimate Collection pre-order 44.99 on bestbuy.com

The spirit of the Stooges was with me because when I got there... they pulled the wrong thing. One of the older two discs sets :(

They finally found it, but I kept expecting the three of them to...

Re: Three Stooges Ultimate Collection pre-order 44.99 on bestbuy.com

re: Horror Movie Empire shenanigans (was: Blue Underground BDs $10 each)

Is that Demetrios on the plate in the picture?

Seriously, the brand HME has been so reviled that guy should've bought Facebook stock instead.

Re: Coen Brothers Collection: $19.99 at Best Buy

Got one. Not that it was without annoyance since I ordered it and one $4.99 title for store pickup. They were checking inventory on the set up till I walked in the store. Said that the $4.99 title...

re: Horror Movie Empire shenanigans (was: Blue Underground BDs $10 each)

Dug that thread up about BigCD and it's eerily similar except for the fact that the "Emperor" never came here and posted, although Twitter served that purpose in this drama. His tweets were somewhat...
