Re: Blu-ray Disc Player Thread

Well, that sucks, especially since I didn't get one with wireless built-in. As I said, I can go wired for now without any difficulty, but in the future I may have to shell out some money.

Re: Blu-ray Disc Player Thread

Sorry if this has been addressed before ... I just bought the Sony BDP-S270. This is my first Blu-ray device. I have it hardwired to my router right now and have my Netflix all set up. However,...

Re: Post your favorite game of the last 10 years (2000-2010)?

Probably Baldur's Gate II. Just more of everything that made the first so great. Neverwinter Nights would be close though, not because of the campaign they provided (though I enjoyed it), but I spent...

Re: Official Nintendo DS Thread VIII: 65 Million Strong.. and Growing

Well, my old-school original DS has been broken for about two years now (smashed top screen). Today I replaced the screen and it's working again. I mainly did this as my 6-year-old has DS envy of...

Re: The Last Airbender (Shyamalan, 2010) — The other Avatar movie

Really excited for this. My son and I are big fans of the animated show. It was great seeing some of the creatures. I was surprised to see Appa, but glad they aren't cutting some of those elements...

Re: Mass Effect 2 - 360 and PC

Well, took another shot at it, doing the same thing and everything worked this time. Very weird, so I'm not sure what happened the first time around.

Re: Mass Effect 2 - 360 and PC

Yeah, I'm aware of that, just like in ME1, but in my ME2 attempt last night it was always grayed out and never allowed me to save, on the Normandy, on a planet, with autosave on and with it off ......

Re: Mass Effect 2 - 360 and PC

OK, this could end up being an entirely stupid question, but how the hell do you save (Xbox 360)?

I just spent a couple hours playing, imported my ME1 data and was all the way to Afterlife to meet...

Re: The One and Only Virtual Console Thread (Wii)

I'm really interested in this one as well. I am hoping it is something my son and I can enjoy together.

Re: Super-Bowl Movie Ads 2010

Thanks!

I'm really looking forward to this. My son and I loved the series. I'm anxious to see how well it adapts to live action and how the story is adjusted to fit a movie.

Re: Official Dragon Age: Origins thread

That's where tactics may help. Set him/her to the ranged type. I had that problem with Leliana. She always switched out of her bow and went to sword, until I realized she had a melee tactic on.

Re: Official Dragon Age: Origins thread

Are you doing a straight mage? I want to do an arcane warrior for my next character, since it looked cool but I didn't want to refocus one of my NPC mages on it.

Re: Official Dragon Age: Origins thread

Actually, there was. :)

You can give up to her immediately as one of the first dialogue options. I tried the battle once, realized my party wouldn't win it and tried the surrender option. I read...

Re: Official Dragon Age: Origins thread

Honestly, I didn't see the point at first, but as I become more tactical (despite some powerful builds, there are some battles that kick my ass), I could definitely see the point. I haven't bought...

Re: Transformers - The War for Cybertron (Activision, NOT Movie based!)

Because every level would be stopping the Decepticons from gathering more Energon cubes. Or, they could switch it up, let us play as the Decepticons and we'd get to fill, carry and stack Energon...

My copy arrived yesterday. I added some more people from this thread. I hope to get some time in either tonight or tomorrow night.

I should have my copy later this week and will be looking to play online. My Gamertag is OuterEdge for those I haven't added yet that are playing.

Re: What are the "Must Have" Wii Games

I don't agree with the statement either. While I don't want every game to have motion control, there are games that (like those mentioned, and Metroid, and others) that I wouldn't go back to old...

Re: Where the Wild Things Are-Review Thread

But this is about so much more than Max's anger. It's how Max deals with his whole world: divorced parents, a sister that has moved on to new friends, his own lack of friends, his wild emotions, his...

Re: Celebrity Voices in animated/puppet movies: Does it really add anything?

For me though, I didn't associate the voice at all. Of course, I wasn't a regular Sopranos watcher. I think a lot of the celebrity voices can work or not work depending on how exposure someone has...

Re: Target VG Clearance HUGE !!! YMMV

I picked up the dual guitar bundle for the same price tonight. It was still $62-something yesterday. They didn't mark down anything else today, just the Guitar Hero bundles.
