2. Check the display (info) on the TV for the DVD input to see if it is at all 'reading' the progressive signal.
(ex. 480i vs 480p)
I went all over the tv manual and I didnt see any thing...

I will try moving the plugs to the other inputs maybe they are bad. I did think that the progressive mode was better then Interlace am I wrong about that?

I have the Toshiba 55hx70 tv and I just bought the Toshiba 6200 dvd. All hooked up with component videos in the color stream plugs. Now I really dont see that big of a inprovment over the VHS tapes...
