Re: Orson Welles’ unfinished film "The Other Side of the Wind" to see release via Net

Yes, it’s titled “A Final Cut for Orson.” It’s available in the “Trailers and More” section when you are on Other Side of The Wind.

Re: Orson Welles’ unfinished film "The Other Side of the Wind" to see release via Net

There is another production documentary on Netflix that is worth checking out. It's listed as a bonus on "Other Side of the Wind." It focuses more on the editing/production.

Re: Orson Welles’ unfinished film "The Other Side of the Wind" to see release via Net

I really liked it and the documentaries. I feel like 2018 audiences dodged a bullet with the Peter Bogdanovich/Rich Little re-casting.

re: MoviePass... would it work for you? [UPDATE: THE DEAD SHALL RISE]

I assume Costco is eating it. I was given a full refund from Costco but still have my account - not that I have been able to use it.

Re: Santa Clarita Diet (Netflix) -- Series Thread -- S: Barrymore, Olyphant

I really enjoyed Season 1 and thought Season 2 was even better.

Re: Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017, D: Martin McDonagh) S: McDormand

I loved this movie. I do think the audience I saw it with thought I was insane. I think I was the only one in the theater who believed that much of the movie is hilarious. It's also serious and...

Re: Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond -- Netflix -- Carrey/Kaufman doc

This was really good. Nice to see Chris Smith still making films. He directed one of my favorite documentaries of all time, "American Movie."

Re: Mr. Mercedes (Audience/DirecTV) -- Based on Stephen King Book -- Premieres 8/9/17

I love the books and really enjoyed the first episode.

I have directvnow and had never heard of Audience. I assumed it was a TBS type station. Was surprised by the graphic content.

I think...

House Concerts

I've been hosting shows at my house in Columbus, OH for the last few years. It's kind of a hobby I've fallen into. I was curious about others experiences hosting or attending house shows? We've...

Re: The Leftovers (S3E05) -- "It's a Matt, Matt, Matt, Matt World" -- 5/14/17

I think there was some talk of the importance of 7 in the Bible, but I don't remember any specific reason people were so sure of the end of the world.

Re: RIP - Powers Boothe

My first exposure was seeing his Jim Jones TV movie in school. Stays with me to this day. Great actor with a great career.

Re: AT&T to offer Directv as streaming service in 2016

My service is working pretty well. Went from freezing up hourly to weekly. They also just gave 12 months of free HBO. I'm still happy with my decision. Still desperately needs a DVR function, but...

Re: John Hurt - dead at 77

He was great in so many roles but a favorite of mine is his old man character from Wild Bill (1995). Seems like he's been playing characters in their 70s his whole career.

Re: AT&T to offer Directv as streaming service in 2016

I pulled the trigger and got directvnow. It's not great, but I'm saving about $130 a month.

Re: Quarry (Cinemax) -- from the EP of Banshee -- Season 1 Thread -- 9/9/16

I really liked the last episode and if that is it for the show it ended on a strong note.

Re: Quarry (S1E03) -- "A Mouthful of Splinters" -- 9/23/16

I'll stick with it a while because I'm a fan of the books and the genre but it needs to step it up pretty soon.

Re: Quarry (S1E01) -- Series Premiere (Cinemax) -- "You Don't Miss Your Water" -- 9/9

I dug it. It was a little disconcerting seeing so many things from the books changed or moved around but I really liked the vibe of the show.
