Just bought a VSX509 receiver and DVR333 DVD....

Just bought a VSX509 receiver and DVR333 DVD. Have S-video running from DVD to receiver and S-video out to TV. Have optical audio between receiver and dvd. I've tried two DVDs and both had freezing...
