Still, you have to wonder about the quality control on the product......

I am having the same problem with DTS DVDs on the AVR500 (the main reason for my desire to upgrade to the AVR510). However, being in Canada, HK Canada claim that they are not aware of the issue........

HK is coming out with the 510 to replace the 500. Maybe you should consider getting the 510. I've had the 500 for a year.... It sounds great!

However, I will trade it in for the 510....

For example, Gladiator 2000's DTS Bit Rate is 768. It's Dolby Digital Bit Rate is 448....
What does these number mean?
