I actually have some info to help clairfy this. I talked to a friend at Ingram who told me that it was because Ingram is doing their inventory, and was not shipping at the time. Hope that helps.

I asked a CSR about this a while ago, and b/c they get items direct from Ingram, the pre-order needs to be loaded in the Ingram system before buy can offer it. That was the official answer I got on...
