Using a PS3 and a Sony 40XBR2 the movie played fine, but had the all the special features squished to the top half of the screen.

Does the player default back to interlaced each time you put in a dvd? Trying to find out since it doesn't have anything to indicate when it is in progressive mode. Thanks in advance.
