Re: Danny Masterson (That 70’s Show) charged with 3 counts of rape.

A former NFL player (Darren Sharper) was convicted for this a few years ago.

Re: The Amazing Race Season 34 (CBS) 9/21/22

Looks like all previous Amazing Race seasons will now only be on Paramount+. That stinks for us because we don't currently have that, and have been watching past seasons on Hulu as a family for a...

Re: DirecTV -- News and Updates

Maybe this is widely known, I don't know, I haven't kept up with this thread. I turned the TV on during a winter storm last week and I got a prompt like "having trouble with satellite connection,...

Ha! I recognized the one paramedic guy from his Twitter videos where he would rant as a store employee.

Re: Taylor Swift -- Discussion Thread

My wife spent 5+ hours in the queue yesterday before finally being able to get some nosebleeds on the side (almost behind) the stage. She did say that she saw some available that were more, but she...

Re: House of the Dragon (S1E08) -- "The Lord of the Tides" -- 10/9/22

That's a good point. The original had Tyrion often providing a bit of levity to everything going on, which helped break up how heavy a lot of the rest of the show was.

Re: Solar Opposites (Hulu) - 05/08/20

I agree with the person that said they enjoy this more than Rick & Morty. This show is way more fun and entertaining. The waiting in line episode was fantastic. Excited for the Halloween ep.

Re: Which series’ have you watched the most times?

I can't think of many series I have purposefully re-watched all the way through. There's plenty of sitcoms that I'm sure I've seen every episode of multiple times from syndication, but I don't think...

Re: Obi-Wan Kenobi (S1E01&E02) - "Part I" & "Part II" - 5/27/22

Looks like I'm in the (ahem) minority, as I enjoyed this show very much. Mini-Leia's "spunk" did annoy me a little, but that's about it. It's sill way above Boba Fett for me, but then that also is...

Re: Bob's Burgers: The Movie (2022)

I'm excited for this. My daughter and I love watching Bob's Burgers together, and I'm looking forward to being able to make an outing of it.

Re: Ozark (Netflix) -- The 4th and Final Season -- Premieres 1/21/22

Yeah, I don't feel like it really applies here. You don't see it, but you do hear the gunshot at least. It seems clear that Jonah shot him, although I would have preferred that it actually been...

Re: Moon Knight (S1E06) - Finale - “Gods and Monsters” - 5/4/22

I just couldn't really connect with this show for some reason. The Egyptian mythology just did nothing for me. I wanted to like it, since it was a little different from other Marvel projects, but I...

Re: Your "bathroom break" concert tunes

He doesn't play it often live, but "God's Own Drunk" by Jimmy Buffett is definitely that song for me. It is such a boring song live.

Re: The Afterparty (Apple TV+) - EP: Lord/Miller - S: Haddish, Richardson, Barinholtz, Glazer, Schwartz,

I also really enjoyed this show, though there weren't really that many clues that you could have realistically picked up on while watching it. Somewhere between this and Murderville (in terms of the...

Re: Old Amazing Race question.

Season 20. Strangely enough, we were in the middle of season 20 when it got pulled from Hulu. Now they have season 1-7 and 23+. Very odd, and super annoying.

Re: Murderville (Netflix) S: Arnett

I thought Annie's was by far the weakest. It was almost like she and Sharon tried too hard to actually solve the case, with the comedy/improv taking a back seat. I thought Ken's was great. You could...

Re: The Amazing Race (CBS) — Season 33 — Premieres 1/5/22

What do you mean? Didn't you hear Akbar saying on multiple occasions that they are former athletes, and Sherie was just being slow for no reason?
