I have not heard either the SR5xxx or SR6xxx or the Denon you mentioned. I have Marantz 8000 and AUDITIONED all the units I had narrowed.

I would suggest you do the same for the final selection.

U can get Panasonic RP56 with progressive scan for
$205 + 6 dollar shipping at J&R (call and haggle).....

...i second sracer: stay away from those brands......
