I have an Oppo BDP-103. Yes it cost $500 + shipping, but there is a big demand for used Oppo players on eBay. Once I've done with it, I should get about 80% of the gross price returned with an eBay...

Mine just arrived, only the DVD was a "shaker" but both discs looked fine. I'm happy to report I now have all the Bond movies in BD format. :)

I have tinnitus, which means that my hearing loss will get marginal help from a higher volume. But - the 50% loss I mentioned above IS when I have the audio at a high volume. :(

Why not call their customer service (1-866-692-2789) and tell them what's going on? Maybe they can force the Avia to ship. At the very least, you'd be telling a live person that about the hassle...

Interesting, the local BB told me that a customer could have a movie pass or BB Online, but not both! Since I had found the movie pass inadequate for TV series DVD's, I went with the 5-plan with BBO.
