upconverting DVD player that will play region 2

anyone know of an upconverting dvd player that will play region 2 discs (through a software hack, code or whatever)

it is not too big of a deal since i have a player that will play region 2, but I can't help but think that most any Attenborough series would sell enough to justify a broader release. I'll check out...

looks good to me, amazon has free shipping on it, so it cost $70. I went for it, don't have any region 2 dvds yet, but i plan to pick up a bunch of the david attenborough series that are on region...

i thought you had to have a hdtv to use a prog scan dvd player, but you can use them with any tv right? its just that you will not get the benefit unless your tv is prog scan compatible. so i guess...
