I second that.

I got a Sony STR-DE835 (DD/DTS)for about $200 at Service Mechandise (dont laugh, please) and it does very well in my 14x22 foot livingroom.

The only question that remains is... Do you watch more standard def TV programming or DVD/HDTV? This will largely influence you choice of 4x3 vs. 16x9.

Don't get one if your viewing habits...

I'll give another vote for the Sony STR DE-835. I got one at Service Merchandise on sale at $250. It works great. It does run warm, but it doesn't seem to be a problem.
