Re: Commercials you absolutely f&*$ing HATE

I know exactly what you're talking about and I do the same thing. I have to mute it from the beginning just to make sure, and I don't like looking at it either.

Facebook, Red Bull, Liberty Mutual,...

Re: Gavin MacLeod aka Captain Merrill Stubing dead at 90

As a long time and unapologetic Love Boat fan, RIP Captain. That was a nice post from Jill Whelan. He always seemed very likable in real life and in many decades of television roles.

Re: Tawny Kitaen - Dead at 59

RIP. I liked her in Witchboard, an underrated movie. I forgot about the OJ affair. She was very beautiful, and obviously had an interesting and tumultuous life.

Re: SNL 03/27/21 (S46E15) -- H: Maya Rudolph, MG: Jack Harlow

Yeah, I mute at least half of the musical guests each season. This is one of them.

Maya killed it in the Beyonce hot sauce sketch. Her performance was spot-on and the humor was there; one of the...

Re: SNL 02/20/21 (S46E13) -- H: Regé-Jean Page, MG: Bad Bunny

It was like watching an episode of Happy Days when The Fonz was popular. Very annoying and making it a difficult watch, it didn't help there was little to no humor.

Re: RIP: Tommy “Tiny” Lister (Friday, The Fifth Element) - Knocked the f*^% out!

RIP.
I almost forgot he was in Armed and Dangerous and Jackie Brown, two favorites of mine as well as guilty pleasure I Got the Hook Up. 221 acting credits! He will be missed.

re: America's Got Talent (NBC) -- Season 15 (2020) and Beyond!

Considering everything: workplace investigations, no live audiences, Simon's in the hospital, and that awful canned applause and laughter- maybe it's time to pull the plug for good.

Re: Family Guy (FOX) -- Season 16 Thread -- premieres 10/1/17

The last few episodes have been pretty solid including Sundays. Not too bad for series in it's 16th season

Re: Prince dead at 57. RIP

I'm bummed, this news has hit me hard. As a teen in the 80s, his music was such an important part of my life. I saw him live twice, the first time at the infamous Rolling Stones concert at LA...

Re: SNL (S41E09) -- 12/19/15 -- H: Tina Fey & Amy Poehler -- MG: Bruce Springsteen

Two very funny women hosting, and the only performance to get a laugh out of me was Maya Rudolph and her drunk 12 Days of Christmas.

Re: What Is The Last TV Film You Watched?

I just watched the TBS made for TV "National Lampoon's Thanksgiving Reunion" with Judge Reinhold and Bryan Cranston. Man, that was painful.

Haven't seen the second one, but Flowers in the Attic...

re: RIP Jan Hooks (SNL)

Sad news. She was also the only bright spot in the later years of Designing Women when Delta Burke left and they cast Julia Duffy and Jan Hooks. And yes, her role in Pee Wee's Big Adventure is a...

Re: The Most Cringeworthy Moments in TV History ?

That kids game show host link was really painful to watch. Truly terrible.

Tom Cruise on Oprah is a good one.

Or anything related to Honey Boo Boo.

Re: Stephen King's Under the Dome - Season 2 Discussion - CBS

I agree with this.

I'm looking at this show as a guilty pleasure. It's really just a soap opera with supernatural undertones. Some of the acting is terrible, some isn't. I kinda like how they are...

Re: "Bar Rescue" - Sundays on Spike

I find Mystery Diners unwatchable for that very reason. I like Bar Rescue, Restaurant Impossible and Kitchen Nightmares even though there's probably a bit of fakery going on.

Re: 'Five Easy Pieces' Actress Karen Black Dies at 74

RIP, Karen
I thought she was great in one of her later films "Some Guy Who Kills People" and remember her fondly from "Airport 75", and many others from that era.
