TV/Receiver question

I have an OnkyoHT-R500 receiver and my TV is hooked up to it. For some reason when I want to hear TV audio at a normal level, there's this high pitched frequency sound after every word someone says....

I got the 20" model for my bedroom throught pointclick long ago. I think it was around $400 but I've seen it closer to $350 now. BestBuy had the 27" for around $539 I think.
