Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 19th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

Unfortunately I chose poorly for my final film, Boardinghouse, but I did make it to 103 films this time around. I wasn’t happy with a lot of the new titles I watched. My favorite new experiences...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 19th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

Well I thought I was done after hitting 100. But, after watching a Psych episode or two, I couldn’t resist putting on Infinity Pool which is new to me. I loved Possessor and so far digging this...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 19th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

I suppose it should have been expected, but I really really hate Bloodsucking Freaks. I guess it follows in the footsteps of HGL but I found other aspects of HGL films to enjoy in some of them. Even...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 19th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

it helps not to have kids or a life outside of work. I definitely watch all the titles I put on the list , it might be a tough stretch hitting 100 for me but I think I might still do it. By 60 or...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 19th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

My wife has said that before too. Hopefully making up for my purchases this past year, I got rid of a good number of tv on dvd that I just couldn’t see watching on dvd vs streaming or ones that i...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 19th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

Finally found some films thus round that I really liked. I wasn’t sure on the first two movies in Arrow’s Italian gothic set but Third Eye and The Witch were fantastic. Gave me just the right mix...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 19th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

I quite agree with you. It sounded right up my alley but I found it to be one of the most tedious films I have seen, not something I could enjoy at all.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 19th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

I’m off this week from work so hoping to make some good strides to 100. I’ve watched some not so good films this time around for the new ones so it is wearing me out fast. Need to put on something...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 19th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

I bring up The Devil and Daniel Webster on here any chance I get. I first watched this movie when I was a kid back in the 80s. Can’t remember now if it was on the fledgling AMC (back when they were...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 19th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

I’ve been watching the Universal Dracula sequels the last few days and I have come to the realization I’ve not seen any of them before. I was surprised by this as I thought I watched every single...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 19th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

Oh my God, The Pope’s Exorcist was bad. Why did none warn me - I thought it would just be mediocre but it really is one of the most ridiculous possession movies I think I have ever seen. I should...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 19th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

I think this year may end up with a disproportionate number of rewatched. Want to go through Halloween, Chucky, Psycho, and Hellraiser 4ks for sure, hopefully catch up on my Vinegar Syndrome sub...

Re: 2nd? Annual Early Bird Horror Watch Roulette

Ok, I watched Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama tonight. This wasn't a first time viewing - I think it was last October horror challenge that I saw it for the first time. I like this one...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 18th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

My list is complete at 114 entries for the year, I don't know how I managed that this time around.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 18th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

While I personally don't like it that much you should check out the Spanish version of Dracula which was made at the same time, same sets, different actors. A lot of others do think it's superior so...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 18th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

Just hit 100 for the first time in all the years i've been participating. Don't feel like I did anything differently this year, took the last week of the month off like I've been doing the last few...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 18th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

I'm pretty surprised at how far I've gotten this year, just hit 69 in my list after 19 days. Starting Saturday, I'm taking my usual end of October week of R&R so for 9 days, I can get at least 4...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 18th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

I was pretty young when I first saw The Picture of Dorian Gray, probably 1988 or 89, somewhere there abouts, and it really stuck with me. Honestly, I never saw Murder, She Wrote which is probably...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 18th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

Well well well. As I close out the first week of the challenge, I'm at 37 entries which seems pretty high. Already feeling a little burnout which normally comes on strong around the 50 mark anyway....

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 18th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)

The Leprechaun franchise transcends the word 'bad' in all regards. From the first movie when you see the camerawork on Jennifer Anniston's ass or the way they allow the developmentally disabled...
