Re: Salt (Noyce, 2010) — The Reviews Thread

Ebert gave this 4 stars (http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20100721/REVIEWS/100729997). I'm definitely going to have to see this now.

Re: Comicon 2010: July 21-25

Was it just me or was that main exhibit floor particularly awful with crowds yesterday? It felt more like Saturday than Thursday, so now I'm a little bit worried. I was unfortunately sandwiched...

Re: Comicon 2010: July 21-25

So, where do the gays going to the Comic-Con get to meet? "Wangs" for the men and "the Muffin Shop" for the ladies? Sorry boys, but stepping into a Hooters restaurant would probably result in me...

Re: The A-Team (Carnahan, 2010) — The Reviews Thread

Ebert calls the film "Queasy-Cam anarchy." That statement alone makes me not want to see it. I can't stand quick flash cut action scenes, which is why I love the first Bourne film so much better...

Re: The A-Team (Carnahan, 2010) — The Reviews Thread

Ebert gave it 1 1/2 stars (http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20100609/REVIEWS/100609973), somehow I'm not surprised.

I wonder when I'm finally going to see my first summer...

Re: "What if" sci-fi or fantasy recommendations?

I recommend Ken Grimwood's Replay (http://www.amazon.com/Replay-Ken-Grimwood/dp/068816112X). It features a "what if" you were to live your life over again, only to change a few things, and then...

Re: E3 Expo 2009 : June 2-4 - news, info, coverage, etc.

I'm heading there today, all starry eyed and excited, though my husband (an AI programmer for games) is skeptical about the experience and not all too excited about it. His coworkers share the same...

I'm OK with them only releasing 1-3 as special editions, mostly because part 2 is my favorite film in the series (the most scary IMO). I'm really hopeful that part 2 will reintegrate some of the...
