The screams of the patients being operated on without anesthesia certainly horrified me. Maybe not a horror film in the traditional sense, but it was pretty damn disturbing.

I like Refn, but I really want to see this for Elle Fanning. I think she has great screen presence and will undoubtedly become a major star in the next few years.

Pacific Rim. The concept of robots fighting monsters is just too much fun to not enjoy and this movie is highly fun and enjoyable. The worlds Del Toro creates in his films are so exact and detailed...

Recently found To Live and Die in L.A. soundtrack on vinyl. William Friedkin made a brilliant decision hiring Wang Chung to do the music for the film; it compliments it perfectly.
