Nowadays I don't listen to many...

The only record store I remember which outclassed...

Re: So I've started doing retail decay videos (good stores replaced with crap)

Re: So I've started doing retail decay videos (good stores replaced with crap)

Heh.

Jogging my memory, Blockbuster had a brief foray into retail music where they opened up several cd/record stores back in the late 1990s. After awhile, I vaguely remember seeing several...

Re: Has the official music video for a song ever changed your interpretation of a song?

Back in the day, I couldn't figure out what Guns N Roses "November Rain" was about.

The video suggested it was about a love that was "lost", that...

Re: The Official METAL! Thread- Metalcore, Thrash, Progressive, Death, and MORE

Recently got the 2023 re-release / remaster cd of Trouble "Run To The Light" album from 1987. I didn't pick up this album back in the day.

The only way I can describe this album, is imagining what...

Re: The Official METAL! Thread- Metalcore, Thrash, Progressive, Death, and MORE

Got Opeth "The Last Will and Testament" cd in the mail today. What caught my attention is how it sounded almost like a death metal band writing songs in the style of "System of a Down" with...

Re: The Official METAL! Thread- Metalcore, Thrash, Progressive, Death, and MORE

Recently got the re-release of Death "Human" cd, which was remixed by Jim Morris (of Morrisound). The mix sounds somewhat clearer than the original Scott Burns mix, where the bass is actually quite...

Re: Help Identifying Hello, Brother (2005) Korean DVD – EnterOne / Sponge Labels

Read the disc on a computer, and see whether the sum total of the file sizes is greater than 5 gigabytes or not. Two-layer discs are larger than 4.5 gigabytes in size.

Re: Help Identifying Hello, Brother (2005) Korean DVD – EnterOne / Sponge Labels

Sounds like a Pacific Mall in Markham. I walked in that place a few times more than 20 years ago, where many shops looked kinda iffy.

Re: Help Identifying Hello, Brother (2005) Korean DVD – EnterOne / Sponge Labels

Re: Help Identifying Hello, Brother (2005) Korean DVD – EnterOne / Sponge Labels

I can't speak for ebay nowadays. I only really buy cds/dvds/blurays from amazon these days.

In the cases where I got a "mixed in" bootleg from amazon's own inventory, I will ask for a...

Re: Help Identifying Hello, Brother (2005) Korean DVD – EnterOne / Sponge Labels

This may sound paradoxical. Whenever I see a seller's profile with 100% good feedback with very little to no bad feedback, I suspect something is not legit.

Usually someone who is a longtime...

Re: Help Identifying Hello, Brother (2005) Korean DVD – EnterOne / Sponge Labels

Of all the bootlegs I have encountered over the years, they were almost always...

For my particular musical tastes, the college radio shows is highly dependent on whether the dj is well informed (ie. a fan) about the music being played. If the dj...
