if I remember correctly from the last time they did this deal, you can trade in any DVD that has a UPC code on it. so rentals are perfectly acceptable, but promos that you got for free may not have...

strange, I just checked my local BBV, which had both the 5/20 and 99c blu ray sale, and they sounded certain there is no blu ray sale this friday, or any time soon.

I don't think they are purposely raising prices, there's just a lot of randomness to it. it works both ways, with some DVDs and sets being underpriced

I'm looking forward to the 4th of July sale....

I bought another 75 blu-rays today for 99 cents. and for the skeptics, yes they held the stack I picked out on Saturday.

never had a chance at titles like Inglorious Basterds, Let the Right One...
