hindolio and HKFlix were right, I tested the discs and 1 & 2 are all region, disc 3 is PAL and disc 4 is the soundtrack CD so coding isn't an issue.

It is the same set at the one on HKFlix. There was only one wooden box set made, and it was done by Zoke. When I tested an open copy a few years ago, it was Region 0 PAL. I don't see where HKFlix has...

No, it is PAL. Zoke Culture released it, they are in Mainland China where they often use PAL, not Hong Kong where they use NTSC. The Hong Kong special edition released by Edko is different.

And am I wrong or does the R3 korean 2-disc have some of the best DVD menus ever? I remember being very impressed with them.
