I lived without cable for a few years when our budget was tight. It wasn't bad at all. I read a lot of books and joined Netflix. It's pretty great to watch a whole season of a show in a short time...

There isn't an age limit on reading a good book. My 65 year old father enjoyed the Twilight series when I passed them on to him. I found the Harry Potter books so enjoyable(movies, not so much). ...
