Yeah, and even if he does get charged with a bunch of crap, what are the odds of getting a jury that doesn't have any trump-lovers on it?

I think things may, MAY, change now that its been a big deal the last few years but even so, Id guess its only slightly making them think twice about it.

When someone sent Bush's debate prep book to the Al Gore campaign in 2000, Gore turned it over to the FBI.

Trump really has changed how politicians behave, and what voters expect of politicians.

That's my fear too. On the other hand, they were able to convict Manafort, so maybe there's a chance we can find 12 people who are fair minded enough to put aside any political biases and judge based on the evidence, not the defendant's identity.

Before he walks it back tomorrow, or stokes another diversion with inflammatory tweets about something else, I'm going to warm my hands against the firestorm this is creating

I agree on the call for Cho to be impeached. It's a warranted, but far more strategically beneficial, move.

To be fair though, it was only a coloring book.

Ah, so NOW he's going down. As opposed to all the other times he was going down. Yeah, nothing's changed.

How's Cho going to be impeached when her husband is the one controlling the Senate?

Exactly. The people in charge are not going to do anything to Trump and Co. Ever.

It's less about the results (though that would be nice) but more about amplifying and relentlessly beating home the point of their corruption(s) of office.

There are definite political benefits for Dems in general , as well huge drawbacks for him personally, if Mitch has to "protect" his wife from a justly deserved impeachment investigation.

Sunlight at high noon. The best disinfectant.

Trump may have his cult firmly in check. No one in congress, especially any R's, enjoy anywhere near that blind loyalty.

It's about the corruption and there is no Traitor Trump in the office of POTUS without a wildly corrupt Senate Majority Leader.

Re: Official Trump Presidency Thread, Part 3

Im sure Trump and Co. will just reiterate that if Norway told him they had information on Biden, that hed listen to it. Thats enough cover for the Repubs to keep protecting him for now. And Trump will distract with some other crisis next week.

The Fox News comments are all about how Hillary did this too with the dossier so Dems have no right to be upset about what Trump said.

Well know he took a lot of flak if by tomorrow hes blaming the corrupt media and angry Democrats for misunderstanding what he said. Either that or hell claim he never said it.

Honestly, if I never have to see his awful spray tan ever again, I would be happy.

Forget every other thing you could rightfully argue about Donald the man, the mogul, the president. The fact that he appears in public the way he does speaks VOLUMES.
