If Dems try to impeach, Trump will go to the Supreme Court? What does that even mean?

It means he thinks the Supreme Court, like the AG, is his personal attorneys.

Well, that's certainly what motivated his nominations.

When he finds out he can't take impeachment to the Supreme Court, I'm sure his next idea will be to call up the military to protect him from being escorted out of the White House.

Does he not have any faith in Mitchy or does he not realize that he won't be removed, even if the House impeaches him?

He feels threatened, so he's lashing out. Just do a quick review of Trump's life and it makes sense.

A lot of people don’t realize the Supreme Court building is across the street from the Capitol. Maybe this is a frank admission that he’s sundowning, like when Grandpa wanders into the neighbors’ house by mistake.

Anyone who has raised children can clearly see exactly what he acts like. It's staggering that so many Americans are not fucking embarrassed that this big crybaby is the leader of the country, the face and symbol of America to the rest of the world. They should be mortified, I know that I am.

Principled Republican turns out to be a hypocritical piece of shit? Quelle surprise!

By now, at this point, we fucking get it! Republicans are hypocrites. We don't need article #327170 about how they're going against what they previously demonstrated.
They don't give it a shit and Republican voters don't give a shit. They just wanna win and mock whoever they've beaten. End of story.

Re: Official Trump Presidency Thread, Part 3

Speaking of playing the victim, look at this fucking shit...

Okay, but that's basically what Costa had previously said...
"in response to my request"

"I didn't call him! I called him back! Harrumph!!!"

What a sad little fucker. Even though life was handed to him on a sliver platter, the dude still has to act the victim in everything.

Well it is staying within his juvenile mindset since it is the equivalent of saying, "Tag, no tag-backs!"

Also, he clearly thinks Robert Costa and Bob Costas are the same person.

worse than that

Getting ginned up on thoughts of (fully warranted) impeachment, is the equivalent of people losing sight of the forest because of the giant Redwood in their face.

Trump is a feckless figurehead whose orders are ignored and dismissed by his subordinates.
People like Barr, OTOH, are vipers who will absolutely poison any process set in motion to bring people to account.

Worried about people "getting away with it"? Put Barr under a microscope and keep him there.

The statute passed in 2014. It was reauthorized in 2017, so take credit for that, I guess?
