And then you follow what with "what people, who are these people?", but they never do.

Sounds bad, but I know from experience when texting people, if you try to send high def porn over regular text messages, it can come out really pixelated, and I'm guessing you can't send 100s of megs of data over white house email, so an app like Whatsapp is necessary in those situations.
"But what about his WhatsApp?" just doesn't have the same ring to it as "But her emails."

I was right about the kid-frisking video. I wasn't having a senior moment. The video is from two years ago. Why is it cropping up again? Because that senile fruitcake James Woods decided it needed a redux?

Because Woods took the video from the Deep State twitter account, then did a retweet that was then shared by Larry the Cable Guy that then was shared by Donald Trump. An inception of stupidity. This shit is going to be written down in the history books.

I see. Well, there's this Media Matters piece from a couple of days ago: Actor James Woods is a main conduit for content from the far-right fever swamps to millions on Twitter

He has either gone off his nut (residual 9/11 PTSD), or is just a detestable sleazebag.

it was interesting how the tweet followed a near perfect descent down the right wing bottom feeder food chain. Deep state -> James Wood -> Larry the Cable Guy -> Trump.

What you are experiencing is called a teachable moment. It is called a gift. It is called a humbling. It is called Jesus, I come to thee. It is called an awakening. It is called a growth edge. It is called hope.

The hope being that through this experience, you can change. You can redefine the man who will come after this moment and this man who came before.

Since you've now called me a liar, I will now call you a silencer. I see your gaslight and now will raise you a scorched earth.

My friend Billy and I were at the Roxy on Sunset Boulevard seeing a band we loved. We decided to go to Mel's diner on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood to get burgers after. I had just gotten my driver's license and very specifically remember my nervousness trying to park in the diner parking lot. Upon leaving the restaurant we were stopped by you and your friend, who both seemed very nice. At one point you suggested we should all go to Las Vegas together. "It's such a great place, have you ever been?" You tried to make it sound innocent. This is something predatory men like to do, I've noticed. Make it sound innocent. Just a dollop of insinuation. Just a hair of persuasion. Just a pinch of suggestion. "It will be so much fun, I promise you. Nothing has to happen, we will just have a good time together." I told you my age, kindly and with no judgment or aggression. I told you my age because I thought you would be immediately horrified and take back your offer. You laughed and said, "Even better. We'll have so much fun, I promise."

Here's the thing, Mr. Woods. At that time I was not a public persona. I had done a couple years on a soap opera as an actress, but you wouldn't know me from Adam. I'm sure you've racked your brain trying to remember how you could've possibly hit on the actress Amber Tamblyn at a diner almost two decades ago. You think, it's not possible, there's no way I would've been so stupid as to hit on a 16-year-old known actress. But I wasn't known then, James. I was just a girl. And I'm going to wager that there have been many girls who were just girls or women who were just women who you've done this to because you can get away with it.

The saddest part of this story doesn't even concern me but concerns the universal woman's story. The nation's harmful narrative of disbelieving women first, above all else. Asking them to first corroborate or first give proof or first make sure we're not misremembering or first consider the consequences of speaking out or first let men give their side or first just let your sanity come last.

So it is with hope, Mr. Woods, that I ask you to go inward now and ask yourself the hard stuff. The ominous unconscious stuff. The archetypal masculinity stuff. The power-play stuff. The perversion persuasion stuff. The secretive stuff. The id's most cherished stuff.

Only you and your darkness know who you are. Only you and your actions know what you've done. That means you and only you have the power to change your behavior.

Are you and your history with women and girls a part of the problem, Mr. Woods?

Go now and look in the mirror and ask yourself if this is true. Go on, I'll wait. But I won't hold my breath.

Re: Official Trump Presidency Thread, Part 3

Everyone needs to watch that Maria Bartiromo interview. The guy is completely off his rocker and getting more and more angry. Scary shit.

Trump Fumes and Calls Fox’s Maria Bartiromo ‘Fake News’ for Grilling Him on McCain Attacks

by Ken Meyer | Mar 22nd, 2019, 7:49 am

President Donald Trump grew angry during an interview with Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo on Friday as she repeatedly pressed him over his renewed attacks on John McCain.

Bartiromo asked Trump why he’s renewing his feud with the Republican senator more than six months after his death. Trump claimed that he only talks about McCain because “you just brought it up, you asked the question,” even though most his slams on McCain from the past week have come from himself.

As Bartiromo asked Trump if he feels any responsibility to bring the country together, Trump claimed that he has and that “a big portion of this nation is united like it’s never been united before.” When she noted that Trump doesn’t unite the country with how he talks about McCain, he claimed once again that his attacks only come up because of outside prompts, and then he called Bartiromo “fake news.”

“You shouldn’t have brought it up,” Trump said, visibly agitated. “Actually, I thought you weren’t supposed to bring it up, but that’s okay, Fake news every once in a while.”

“It’s not fake news,” Bartiromo pushed back. “You just told me why you have an issue with him.”

When Bartiromo closed out that section of the interview, she said, “for the record, there were no conditions or stipulations agreed to ahead of the interview.”
Trump thinks that the MAGA crowd being united means the country's united.

That fragment should clearly explain to everyone his definition of "fake news": things he doesn't want to be reported.

I like how he thought she shouldn't bring up the subject he's been vomiting for the last week. And then he lies that the only time he talked about it was when he was asked.

I liked how he said, "Fake news every once in a while" to something that is clearly true. He just illustrated that everything he says is "fake news" is actually true and everything he spouts as "real news" is the actual bullshit.

The "I thought you weren't supposed to bring it up" is a tell, revealing how he and Fox agreed to what they would and wouldn't talk about. She went off script and he lost his shit.
