His intelligence agencies. Full stop.

Also, there is zero proof Strzok was "conspiring" against Trump. Calling Trump an asshole doesn't mean you can't do your job too. I'd love to see any current Trump staff member's text messages about their boss.

Yeah between an American intelligence agency that employed a guy who sent a couple nasty text messages and the leader of a hostile power who's invaded sovereign countries, murdered his own people and sided with Assad it's a really tough choice.

Yeah, fuck you too. You apparently didn't actually listen to Strzok's testimony, because it wasn't anything like the republicans have projected. Also, even if Strzok was compromised, he hasn't been on the investigation for well over a year.

Did you listen to the statements of the Republicans who were also wary of Trump's qualifications to be President? Are all of them also suspect in your eyes? Does anyone who holds a political view automatically disqualify themselves from an investigation? Maybe Trey Gowdy should disqualify himself from this issue, no?

I just checked out his YouTube channel to see what he said about this whole thing. Hard to defend, right?

Ben Shapiro basically downplays the entire thing:

"Vladimir Putin says, [Shapiro doing Russian accent]'we did not do this' and Trump said, [Shapiro doing Trump impersonation]'well, I don't know if they did it or not but we talked about it a lot' and everyone went crazy over it."

Did Shapiro watch the same thing the rest of the world did?

He then went on to say, that despite Trump saying niceties to Putin, the Left is overreacting because Trump's words don't manifest themselves into policy, and he cites how Trump was pro-healthcare for everyone, than gutted Obamcare, and how he was pro-tax the rich, and then gave them a tax cut.
Then he said, that Trump might talk nice with/about Putin but that doesn't translate into foreign policy because we're still arming anti-Assad rebels and that the US supposedly killed 10 Russian mercenaries acting on behalf of Assad.

What's interesting is that Shapiro left out Trump NOT actually implementing the sanctions against Russia that both congress and himself agreed to do via a bill that he signed. Not to mention that during a time when NATO ties need to be strengthened Trump is damaging them.

He cites the so-called "apology tour" and cuts to the military, but doesn't mention that Obama wanted congressional approval to strike Russia's proxy, the Assad regime in Syria, and eventually take it out.

But Shapiro is a clever dude with the way he uses words. He makes sure not to put "anti-American" in the same sentence with Trump, but goes out of this way to associate it with Obama and/or Democrats.

There's other examples of this guy's disingenuous rhetoric but you get the point.

Did that seem like a tough question to you? Seemed pretty based in fact to me.

You happy with your guy these days? Was that a strong showing with the Russians?

or
3. Both.

Any one of these is a great reason to bury them in an avalanche of shit come November.
And I think there will be a heavy turnout - people didn't vote last time, assuming trump would lose - those same people aren't staying home next time.
I think #3 should be that they simply put their own careers ahead of the welfare of the country. The same thing happened during the vote to give George W. Bush authority to invade Iraq, with members of congress who normally against war, voting for it. They don't want to do anything that will make them lose their seats/job.

If Republican congress members go against Trump, their conservative constituency will turn on them and they'll be voted out of office. Then these Republicans will actually have to get a job in the private sector.
But yeah, you got some, maybe many that probably are in on it (#1) like rep Dana Rohrabacher, and then you have others who think (#2) that selling out our country to Russia is a small price to pay for stacking the supreme court with enough conservative judges to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Shapiro is pretty terrible, but he's a fast talker and can sound persuasive. I get how people can fall for his crap, unfortunately. I see his talking points parroted by real life folks all the time.

Serious question - at this point, what percentage of the Trump administration should be hanged for treason?

50%? 75%?

I think part of the novelty for him is/was that he seemed to slightly deviate from the party-think when it went against his own beliefs. He actually criticized Dinesh D'Souza for his campaign donation fraud, and was #NeverTrump initially.
The #NeverTrump thing actually hurt him initially when Milo Yiannoplous and the Alt-Right went after him calling him a "cuck." His fanbase and views took a big hit at the time.
In hindsight though, a lot of the times it's just a ruse to give the fascade of objectivity. He criticized D'Souza but simultaneously entertained the theory that he was targeted by the Obama Administration because of the documentary he made.

There's a Canadian guy that has a popular conservative YouTube channel and his latest video is entitled "THE NATO SCAM."
He also has the schtick where he's supposedly not a Trump supporter, admits that Trump says idiotic things, but then excuses and supports him at every turn.

I like to read and hear different viewpoints in politics, but when these people have a financial stake in it (YouTube views, subscribers, ad revenue), the veracity and integrity of their entire content is going to be compromised.
