This Tillerson news reminds me of something. Oh yeah:

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-43281519

Leaked emails show a UAE-linked businessman met with Trump last year to lobby for Tillerson being removed. At least it wasn't Russia.

I was sort of surprised Jared Kusher wasn't named Secretary of State.

Amazing that Rex lasted more than a year.

Thankfully, he didn't make Tom Cotton CIA Director. Though that's probably coming soon given how much turnover there is.

Sorry not sorry you can't see the forest for the trees here SD.
And now your making assumptions of what I'm thinking. I never said why I think she married him. I'm not making any assumptions on the matter. She is not POTUS and not especially in the day to day public eye. She has also not done the wacko shit Trump has done that effects the county. So, I'll leave her out of it and not attack her. My only comment about her was the statement "nobody cares if he banged a porn star".

One possible reason anonymity is because your doing something illegal. If all he was doing was paying a porn star he banged "that nobody cares about" why the anonymity? Why didn't he just cut her a check? He is a billionaire...$130,000 is nothing. Why the fuck is his personal attorney taking money out of his home to pay her? There is real question if the payment by another was made to help the campaign (avoid the embarrassment and publicity right before the election) than it is a campaign contribution.

There are a lot of pieces to this. As is obvious by this not going away. All his other shit seems to fad away.mnot this one. Now part of it is how well Stormy is playing this. She honestly seems a lot smarter than him.

I think that eventually Michael Cohen's contention that he paid her out of the goodness of his heart is going to bite him and Trump in the ass. It's just not a believable or even feasible explanation. Trump's silence on the matter is a tacit agreement with the explanation.

Unsurprisingly the State Dept employee who made the Rex Statement is now fired

Tillerson coming into State led to a lot of career folks quitting, so I'm sure its a dept in great shape right now! Morale at great highs

Based off the WSJ story it seems like McEntee was basically Gary from Veep!

He won't. They never do. So many people have been fired and no one is saying anything. I think many actually like Trump and don't feel vengeful.

Probably because you'd have to be a piece of shit to want to work for Trump anyway, I suppose.

Uh hold on folks, there's more to the story about Trump's aide being fired

Keep in mind this guy is being moved over to work on Trump's "2020 campaign"

https://www.cnn.com/2018/03/13/polit...110AMStoryLink

Longtime Trump aide fired over financial crime investigation

(CNN)President Donald Trump's longtime personal aide John McEntee was fired because he is currently under investigation by the Department of Homeland Security for serious financial crimes, a source familiar with his firing told CNN.
The charges are not related to the President, the source said.
Minutes after news of his departure broke, the Trump campaign announced McEntee would be joining the reelection effort as a senior adviser for campaign operations.
McEntee escorted from the White House on Monday, three sources with knowledge of the matter told CNN. Two sources said McEntee was pushed out because of issues with his security clearance, making him just the latest aide to be forced out because of difficulties obtaining a full security clearance.

Not sure if this has been posted or not, but new news about the Stormy NDA: Apparently the notary didn't sign or date it, and is now under investigation.

Texas investigating notary over failure to sign Stormy Daniels nondisclosure agreement: report

Quote:
Officials in Texas are investigating the nondisclosure agreement signed by Stormy Daniels after it was revealed that the notary did not sign or date the document, the Dallas Morning News reported Monday.

Texas notaries are required to sign and date agreements, as well as provide a certificate verifying those who sign documents.

However, notary Erica Jackson is now facing an investigation after she failed to do all three for the 2016 nondisclosure agreement regarding Daniels's alleged affair with President Trump. Jackson's stamp is on the document.

From Twitter

"Imagine running Exxon-Mobil for decades and being a titan of the world and then being fired by Donald Trump on Twitter."

Seriously, why would anyone go to work for him?

Pretty sure that if it was around back then, Ivana and Marla would both have learned about their divorce on twitter.

So Pompeo will be confirmed for the SoS, and I'll argue that this is an improvement over Tillerson because of Pompeo's stated opinion of Russia and because as a politician, he'll probably start trying to fill the State Department and get some people back.

Pompeo's replacement also looks like a win in general to me. It isn't some fuck like Tom Cotton or Trey Gowdy. It's a career CIA person who was involved with some torture stuff, and people seem against her as a result of that, but I'm pretty sure most CIA people have been involved with torture stuff in some way. I think she is probably the best we could hope for out of Trump. It's like a Rosenstein appointment.

This is actually good for most everyone except people who love Trump. The result is at least a minor upgrade in each position and Trump continues to look insane on a day when another seat might flip.

So while I'm happy about the action, I'm concerned about the rise of Trump's insanity.

Tillerson speaking live about his firing today at 2:00. This may be interesting.

Can't imagine he's going to go on and kiss Trump's butt

I have no sympathy for an ex-gasoline CEO billionaire.
