Re: The Random Political Memes Thread

I have the Nextdoor feed and it's not too bad. There are lots of lost dogs, strangers going into yards, and asking for the names of honest companies to work on houses. It's sponsored by Ring, so you know they'd like to push the narrative of scary strangers. But it's not a big part of the discussion.

To continue the derailment, if you have stuff you want to give away, using Nextdoor will guarantee the stuff will be gone before you even know you want it gone.

Nextdoor is awesome. The amount of crazy pet lovers on there is off the charts.

It definitely is. I check it occasionally to see what items people are selling and general info for the neighborhood but it’s certainly got its share of nervous housewives posting about ridiculous things. I get, “There’s a strange man walking around the neighborhood with a clipboard” or “Suspicious truck passed my house twice!” Kind of posts that make me roll my eyes at these people who seem to have too much free time on their hands.

How much do the new surveillance cameras cost?

Donald Trump was never a realtor.

It's a time travel joke. So you don't know how many timelines have been fucked with.

I was thinking of posting a reply along the lines of "his actual title is irrelevant to the joke" but this is so much better.

Last I checked, John Connor was 45, playing Halo 5, consuming Dew & Doritos.

SkyNet won, but only kinda.

Re: The Random Political Memes Thread

No, the dipshit that made it doesn’t understand the real estate industry. A realtor is a member of the National Association of Realtors. Trump is/was a landlord and developer. He may have even had a real estate brokers license, but he would never have to join the NAR and actually be a realtor. Time travel joke or not you have to get your terms right.

Thank you for ensuring historical accuracy. Now please provide your dissertation on the possibility of time travel.

Or what? Or you’ll look uninformed, like the person who made the meme.

I get addressing misinformation in political memes in order to educate or correct.
But damn, this is purely a joke. It's not like it's giving out fake statistics or re-writing history.
I wouldn't be surprised if the creator of it KNEW Trump was never a realtor. But it's funnier using "realtor," and he was in reals state so...I even though I knew it wasn't 100% accurate.

You would have to have a sense of humor to recognize it as a joke.
