Someone should look into the oranges of Biden's speaking problems.

No, he's being dubbed. Someone else is running the country! Or so followers of Q would post and have you believe.

I just thought it was a funny observation. He actually does sound like George Clooney.

No, it means that the substantial majority of voters are effectively disenfranchised in Presidential elections.

Yup, if people instead of land voted, this is what 2016 looks like.

I can't imagine how frustrating it must feel to support the party that never wins in your state. You really must feel that your vote simply doesn't count. I'd be disenfranchised too. I think if you dump the EC, you'd see more red votes coming from California and NY, as well as more blue votes coming from the deep south. There's literally no downside to dumping the EC and you'd finally have a president who truly reflects the entire COUNTRY, not just certain areas.

I read an article the other day talking about how a lot of people are migrating to different states so they can live somewhere that shares their political beliefs. I guess I understand it. I live in a blue state but I have occasionally travelled to red states and I just feel weird in those states. Iím not sure Iíd be comfortable living there.

Thatís something I never would have taken into consideration 10 or so years ago but I definitely would today.

Red states and blue states are only going to be more boldly defined in the future.

I'm not even talking about that though, the wanting to live in a state that reflects your political beliefs. I mean just that every R presidential vote in my state (CA) has been essentially thrown in the trash for 30+ years. I'm talking about people (mostly) happy with the state they live in, but because it's a solid majority for one party or the other and has been that way for years, that their votes basically don't count. And if I was one of those people, I'd be a lot less inclined to come out on Election Day. This whole "this is what the Founding Fathers intended!" line about the EC is bullshit, they never intended it to be like this at all. The EC is not applicable in the 21st century. Dump it. There's a good reason we drive cars instead of horses and buggies; what worked in 1783 is kinda out-of-date now.

Not for nothing, but some "centrist" lady with an email account was sounding the alarm about this back in 2016, and a bunch of leftists accused her of being a scaremonger, so I'm not sure I buy this particular take.

Which leftists?
I vaguely recall the leftists warning about this kind of thing right along with the lady with an email server, but folks voted for the billionaire Republican anyway, because that email lady was just too shrill.

And that's just from a few minutes of scrolling through Twitter to see what others are posting, and it's specific to the SCOTUS issue as opposed to the more general "There's no difference between Trump and Hillary" leftists.

And yes, I know -- not all leftists, not all Bernie supporters, etc.
