You've got so many things mixed up there. It's not "Dr. Spock", it's "Doctor Spock", and he was in a British sci-fi show, NOT the Star Wars prequels.

Re: Brexit

Looks like big business is pushing for the Brits to STAY in the EU, while smaller businesses are saying it would be to their benefit to EXIT the EU.

I'm going with the smaller businesses opinion as fact and truth, and the larger corporations as a political move to get more welfare from the EU.

One of the exceptions, very few exceptions I might add, is James Dyson, who believes a BREXIT is a good thing, and would not damage large businesses.

Re: Brexit

It makes no difference to me. All I know is I can order a record from the UK and it costs $20 to ship. I can order a record from France and it costs $6. And fuck the UK and their British pound.

Re: Brexit

That's because the Euro isn't doing so well. Favoring a BREXIT would make your vinyl even cheaper.

Re: Brexit

I am a great supporter of the EU but I am cynically almost hoping for a Brexit.

70 years of domestic peace has made wealthy countries lazy and people just don't see the great advances we have made. People complain about the single one immigrant DUI that kills a biker or the single judge that makes an impopular judgement, and think the world is falling apart by politicians that just fill their pockets (while these complainers are driving in the cleanest and safest cars ever, on the best roads ever, to their jobs with the best conditions and best wages ever, etcetera).

A Brexit will show the rest it is a terrible thing to leave without entirely ruining the EU or world economy, and then we can hopefully move on.

Jews control all the banks, while Muslims just blow them up?

Sorry, was channeling my inner Trump there.

FTSE 100 up 3%, British pound sees biggest daily gain (against USD) in nearly 8 years.

Sorry, no Brexit for you.

Not sure where you're shopping but shipping from Amazon.UK is much cheaper than from Amazon.fr.

I suspect the assassination will turn the tide away from an exit. But Oliver can't hurt either.

Oh, and Ky-Fi, I really hope you haven't been aware about the rampant racism within UKIP. That's why I was so surprised when you said you supported them.

Similarly, I really hope you're just ignorant of the rampant antisemitism of Labour

..which has gotten so obvious that even left-wing rags now have to discuss it:

Re: Brexit

I missed the June 7th deadline to register to vote

I would have voted to remain.

Re: Brexit

So this is it eh? We should know by morning?

I'm confident "remain" will win since people are much more scared of change than they are excited about it.. typically.

That's probably the case. I'm not even sure the Lisbon Treaty would allow the UK an exit.

Re: Brexit

Amazingly, the consensus mimics American policies, and I see a polarization sweeping the Western world which is very concerning.

I'm gonna say the BREXIT will not succeed due to a rather instantaneous increase (subtle, but still a significant increase) in the polls since June 15th or so, which more than likely had to do with the murder of a politician.

Re: Brexit

So is Brexit primarily about open borders and Muslim immigration? Is that why the Reoubs are all on the Brexit side?
