According to The GOP racism has ended

It was fifty-eight years ago today that Rosa Parks refused to change seats on a Montgomery, Alabama bus, effectively ending racism forever. At least that's what the Republican National Committee seems to believe via this ill-advised Twitter post.



The GOP meant well with their tweet, aiming to pay respect to the late Civil Rights icon, but fell wide of the mark and directly into the lap of a ravenous Internet community that found the end of racism to be shocking news.
