Re: Who did/will you vote for?

I don't remember. I think it was Romney, though I had planned to vote for Johnson since Obama will carry my state easily.

Ah, you know, I think I did vote for Romney because I really want to see him get the popular vote and Obama get the electoral win.

Early voted for Obama, but Mitt will carry TN by a mile...so it probably doesn't matter.

Voted for Obama. (early by mail)

State-wise and locally, I voted mostly Republican. California Democrats give me hives.

I'll trade you--you can pretend you voted in Massachusetts, and I'll pretend I cast my Romney vote in TN.

Re: Who did/will you vote for?

I wish those of you who are in solid red states would just vote Romney so we can have popular vote and electoral vote go different ways.

Hell, 20% of the Obama voters in Oregon could do that, and the state would still be safe.

Obama, without a doubt. Mostly because I care far more about social issues than economic ones.

May I safely assume that you're a pregnant lesbian who wants to have a free abortion and get married?

Nope, but you can assume I care about people other than myself. Us straight white men have it pretty easy. No wonder we make all the decisions for everyone else.

I care a hell of a lot more about economic issues that I do social issues.

Economic issues can affect every single person in the country.

I hope so too, just to hear the whining about how the popular vote is suddenly more important.

Damn straight, and recent statistics show that abortion-seeking pregnant lesbians have been hit particularly hard in this down economy. Did you know that the cost of gay weddings has doubled under Obama? Fact.

Obama. If he wins, cool. If not, I guess we get to complain about the other guy for the next four years.

One could argue that the social issue is economic, and that without economic empowerment and freedom, liberal social policies are largely irrelevant.

Not everyone who cares primarily about the economy, and not social issues, does so because they are selfish.
