1) I didn't even have to check the story to know the race of the family involved
2) 17 officers for some ecstasy?
3) They took a door off the hinges? Because...drugs?

I'm sure nothing will happen to these courageous heroes in blue but every one of them should lose their jobs.

Normally don't post here about cops being shitty, but this is beyond shitty.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...-years-n988631

A Pennsylvania police chief and his friend were arrested for allegedly sexual abusing a young girl over the course of at least seven years, according to the state's attorney general.

Weissport Chief of Police Brent Getz, 27, and Gregory Wagner, 28, allegedly raped a girl from the time she was 4 until she was 11 years old, Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro said in a press release Wednesday.

Getz and Wagner were charged Tuesday with rape of a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child and other related charges.

Police investigated the case multiple times since 2012 and pressed charges this week after a police search on Wagner's home.
As to evidence, well...

Wagner confessed to having sexual intercourse with the girl on at least three occasions when interviewed by police Tuesday, according to the criminal complaint. He also told police that Getz had sexual contact with the girl while Wagner played video games in the same room.

Cops making up false charges in order to arrest someone? Nah, they would never do that.

Note also he was driving at night, speeding, and didn't have his headlights on. The woman he hurt hit been in the hospital for the past 7 months and hasn't been able to return to work.

Cops gun down black couple sitting in car.
shoot fire and let god sort them out

Protests have been going on for the past week after cops shoot multiple shots into a park car. The cops say they thought the car was used in armed robbery, it wasn't but even if it was that isn't a good reason to shoot into the car without warning.

Well, they WERE black. So they had to die. It’s a good thing they didn’t but not for lack of effort.

Albuquerque police seize classic muscle car in suspicious DUI stop, keep it for 9 years. The seizure program is found unconstitutional, and APD returns it only under pressure.

The video at the end of the link is much better than the text story, but IB won't let me embed it.

Not that I agree with the forfeiture law, but why on earth would he plead guilty to DUI if he only had 2 beers?

Nice that he got the car back, though. It would be incredibly frustrating to have any vehicle taken from you, but a project like that... Ouch!

I didn't follow the Sandra Bland story before. Clearly the cop wasn't in danger, but what made her commit suicide in her cell? Or is that being contested as well?

She could have suffering from depression and the arrest pushed her over the esge.

Or the cops figured they fucked up by committing a wrongful arrest and murdered her to cover it up.

There was video footage at the jail that indicates that she was not killed at the jail. But there is no question she would have been alive today without the arrest. It's atrocious that the only penalty to the cop was that he lost his job (for perjury, not for the arrest), and that he will never have a job in law enforcement again (still protecting us, I guess).

Saw that this morning and it pissed me to no end. There's no other repercussion for this cop other than losing this job, but more than likely, he'll move to another town and get hired to be a cop, security, etc. To me, this racist assholes should be labeled similar to how sexual predators are. By this I mean that once something as blatant as this comes out, this cop should be labeled as a danger to society permanently and be unable to get a job at a place that gives him a weapon or puts him in a position of power over minorities.

I know this conversation is a few weeks old now, but I didn't see it then.

She suffered from depression and had attempted suicide in the past after going through the loss of her child. This was something she had disclosed to the officers when they booked her at the Waller County jail, yet she was not placed on suicide watch. Officers then observed that for the three days she sat in jail -- FOR CHANGING LANES WITH OUT SIGNALING -- she was despondent and showing signs of depression, yet she was not placed on suicide watch. She came to Texas to try and get a fresh start on her life after the horrible events she had gone through in Chicago, and almost immediately she's pulled over, threatened, arrested, thrown in jail to rot, and facing the prospect of losing her new job; for something that wouldn't even get someone like me pulled over. They didn't murder her, but Brian T. Encinia (the racist piece of shit that arrested her) and the Waller County Sheriff's Department sure as shit killed her.

That is some quintessential bad police work. The officer repeatedly escalates the situation. And he’s clearly doing it out of ego.

Re: The "Cops Behaving Badly" Thread

Cop pepper sprays muslim woman running for public office.
Over a turning right on red

No body cam and they are refusing to release the dash cam. She got sprayed after three minutes of being stopped because the cop says she was resisting arrest. Part of the encounter was recorded on her cellphone which you can hear her saying she will show him her license. The site didn't have the video just said what was in it. She says she never resisted arrest just asked why she had to leave the car.

Once again a body cam could have cleared this all up. Heck the dash cam might be able to clear this up. The problem with not releasing the footage is the cops look like they are hiding something or using the time to make up a story to fit what can be seen which they are probably doing.
