The First Lady - Michelle Obama - Keeping it real and saving our children

Mama Obama

She deserves her own thread. After all, her husband was elected President and she discovered a way to be proud of our country.

Possible topics include eating right, going to Spain, and fashion trends.

I can't say she has done so to excess. She is rather fetching. Obama chased her and people treat him like a dog.

But her job is "hell" and she can't stand it.

Complaining about your job, First Lady to the leader of the formerly most powerful nation in the world, with room, board, travel, clothing expenses, rings a little hollow when the rest of the nation is seeing 10% unemployment and those jobs that are out there are either very highly skilled or very low skilled.

Can't comment on her weight, but whenever I see a pic of her, she looks like she always smells something bad.

... according to the author of a new unauthorized biography of Carla Bruni, who refused to identify his sources.

...and yet, it's not very hard to believe, nor worth defending. I can see just about anyone saying that off the cuff in any position. It's a common phrase without much context. It's obviously overblown but makes for a morsel of a headline these days which is the only reason anyone would get remotely upset over the statement. People are always looking for more fuel for their existing discontent.

Yeah, cite your source or it didn't happen. I treat books as entertainment since "facts" are rarely checked and often get in the way of a good story. I think the media jumping all over that as if she said it was pretty messed up.

Up until recently, I was sure there was no Deep Throat (other than in the adult industry).

I'm not a fashion guru, but I don't think those high waisted dresses she wears are do the best job of enhancing her figure.

I think the gripe is more with living in the White House and the isolation, restriction....etc. rather than whatever job she's doing or supposed to do. I don't care either way......though I think a Laura Bush thread might have been critical to the forum (at the time).

That would be the bullshit coming out of her husbands mouth.

Please. Based on her previous statements, especially the "First time I've ever been proud of my country" comment, it's not hard to believe that she said what is claimed. Maybe she did, maybe she didn't. But you are just as guilty for assuming that she didn't say it as you claim the media is for assuming she did.

That is retarded. You don't report news that way, you don't "assume something" and call it proof. That'd be like CNN going:

PRESIDENT BUSH: PRIMATE ANUS INVESTIGATOR!

"President Bush raped a monkey and loved it...

...according to an unnamed source. Yes, you heard it here first folks!"

Then use proof like "Maybe he raped a monkey, maybe he didn't. I wasn't there, but if someone who refuses to reveal their name said it, it must be true! Besides... he's got tiny monkey-rapey eyes."

At least Guarddog provides Youtube videos as proof when spouting bullshit.
