How long until marijuana smoking is less restrictive than tobacco smoking?

Funny how marijuana decriminalization/legalization is gaining more and more support, but cigarette smoking is becoming more and more vilified.

Will we ever see a time in which smoking pot will be less restrictive than smoking cigarettes?

Maybe, probably in another 30 years for the tide to turn.

I know that in more and more places, smoking cigarettes at bars is a thing of the past. Some cities are even phasing out bars that get exemptions (cigar bars and hookah bars).

But I could totally see marijuana bars if it's ever legalized. I can see a situation where cigarette smokers, cigar smokers, and hookah smokers won't have legal businesses to cater towards their habit, but pot smokers will.

I see them converging but I don't see much to indicate that their streams would cross.

Why?
It would be bad.
I'm fuzzy on the whole good/bad thing. What do you mean, "bad"?
Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light.
Total protonic reversal.
Right. That's bad. Okay. All right. Important safety tip. Thanks, Egon.

What Thor said. They might converge but they will never cross.

I sure wouldn't mind seeing it, but I don't think it happens. States can do whatever they want, but it doesn't ever really matter until the feds decriminalize it. I don't see a majority with the stones to do it.
