Re: 11/2/2010 - 225 Days And Counting

Thanks for the post, kenbuzz. I threw a few bucks at Reps. Foster and Bean, both of whom had pressure from the right to vote no given the demographics of their districts. Here's hoping they win re-election.

No, I can't donate to everyone, so I usually pick ones I have some connection with. Bean and Foster are in the Chicago metro area which is why I did them. I'll also probably give something to Periello just because he's a friend of a friend and because I have a soft spot in my heart for Charlottesville, which is his district.

Re: 11/2/2010 - 225 Days And Counting

Yarmuth will get his seat back. The Republicans here in Jefferson County (Louisville) are more focused on the mayoral/local elections, and I've not yet seen a serious effort from any Republican candidate in that race.

The Kentucky Republicans want to retain Bunning's seat in the Senate, although their primary race is more heated than the Dems. Rand Paul currently has the defining lead (thanks to a boost in support after Sarah Palin endorsed him); Sec. of State Trey Grayson had the lead until four months ago. The Democrats will probably vote for Lieut. Gov. Mongiardo to run again.

Why does this list only have those who voted for the bill?

By the thread title I assumed this was going to be a thread about mid-term elections, not an anti-health care bill one.

We already have a thread for the upcoming House elections, and one for the Senate elections, too. I guess we needed a new thread dedicated to defeating those legislators who voted for a bill that was probably supported by most of their constituents.

I hope Nancy pelosi will get voted out, but that is probably impossible since she from the San Francisco area, and the people there probably think she can do no wrong.

No chance in hell Tammy Baldwin will lose but I hope enough of them lose to lose control of the House.

This was the exact same vote as the ration'n'tax vote. Eight Republicans who probably regret it voted for that monstrosity so that means eight Dems who voted for yesterday's monstrosity voted against ration'n'tax. I'm too lazy to figure out who they are.

Me thinks all who voted for this bill will have a good shot in Nov. to be re-elected.
Because if Obama gives the illegals instant U.S. citizenship they will vote Democratic.

It looks like I should be donating time and/or money to Betsy Markey.

And when he sends all the republicans to concentration camps, it'll be a clean sweep!

225 days is a lot. How much did they spend in the previous 225?

Rand Paul currently has the defining lead (thanks to a boost in support after Sarah Palin endorsed him); Sec. of State Trey Grayson had the lead until four months ago. The Democrats will probably vote for Lieut. Gov. Mongiardo to run again.

I really wish they could take Yarmuths sorry freak ass out. They wasted an opportunity if they are more focused on the mayoral race. Which one is really more important. I think yesterdays vote answers that.

As for the Senate race, I think the GOP is going to take that whether the candidate is Paul or Greyson. The Dems have decent candidates as far as reputation and name recogniton. But I think Obama has sealed the fate of the Dems in that race.

Not sure what the point of this thread is. Most people who are against health care wouldn't vote for the politicians listed anyway.
