Clinton hospitalized for chest pains.

Breaking.

My Murtha one didn't go too well. Let's hope for a happier ending on this one.

Edit: Bill, Not Hill.

He's received a stent. Severity unknown.

You should know better than to use Clinton and happy ending in the same post.

You know Wenders is a huge fan of Clinton, I'll bet he's beside himself.

the definition of "happier ending" will vary widely on this story.

It's "stent", not "stint", and doctors needed to place two stents in his coronary artery. A very good friend of mine had almost the same procedure done last year, but still ended up back in the hospital ten days later with a heart attack. Fortunately, he is doing much better today.

All politics aside, I hope Clinton has a full and speedy recovery. I'm pretty sure that if any of us were going through this, that is what we would call a happy ending.

History shows again and again how spell check points out the folly of man.

It did the spell check just fine (stint is a word), it just couldn't read your mind to figure out which word you were wanting.

No, it flags "stent" as not a word.

Re: Clinton hospitalized for chest pains.

He should just go for a bypass. I just had an 80 year old client have a heart attack (while at a hospital, fortunately) and he was too far gone to bother with stints. So the only real option was a bypass (triple) which they didn't want to do because of his age. He had it, lived, and now is doing incredible. I almost think that we should all have bypass surgery around age 65 or 70 so we get new life and not have to worry as much about dying on the operating table.

Bill will pull through. He's tough. How old are our 4 living past presidents?

He already had a quadruple bypass in 2004.

CRAP! My theory is going nowhere.

I wonder if he continued to job after he was out of office. Always seemed like he took decent care of himself.

Re: Clinton hospitalized for chest pains.

Clinton has been heavily involved with Haiti for many years, especially after the earthquake hit. I imagine he's been working around the clock since then.

I'm assuming that he's not eating right or taking care of himself if he had a 70% blockage as it's being reported he had with this procedure.

Re: Clinton hospitalized for chest pains.

I'm sure this past month has seemed like many years for the Haitians and those involved with the recovery.
